Religious Education
Registration /Orientation 2016-2017
The St. Viator Religious Education Program offers faith formation for children in First Grade through 12th grade. The priests and the catechists of this parish share their time, talent and faith to help children know and understand the traditions of our Catholic faith. Since parents are the primary teachers of their children, they have an important role in their child’s ongoing faith formation by the example they set. Attendance at Sunday liturgies is both expected and encouraged.
Classes begin Sunday, September 25th with registration/parent meeting and end Sunday, April 23rd.
First Grade through Fifth Grade classes will meet on Sundays from 1:15-2:30 pm in the Parish Center (next to the church).
Sixth, Seventh and Eighth Grade (Faithways) classes meet on Sundays from 3:00-4:45 pm in the Parish Center followed by mass at 5:00 pm in the Church.
Pre-Confirmation (9th grade and older) students meet twice a month on Sundays in the Parish Center from 3:00-6:00 pm- which includes attendance at the 5 pm Sunday Liturgy.
Confirmation (10th grade and older) students meet once a month on Sundays in the Parish Center from 2:00-6:00 pm- which includes attendance at the 5 pm Sunday Liturgy.
